The waters brought forth —
abundantly.
The beginning of intelligence. Built in, inherited, unstoppable.
"And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great sea dragons and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth."
Genesis 1:20–22Life appeared in the waters first. Not by accident — by command. "Let the waters bring forth abundantly." And they did. Every moving creature. Every winged fowl. Sea dragons. The full spectrum of living intelligence, called into being in a single day.
Look at a wing. Now look at a fin. Now look at your hand.
The same design — expressed differently, adapted perfectly. Five points of articulation. A broad base. A range of motion that no machine has ever fully replicated. The hand didn't evolve from the fin. The fin didn't evolve from the wing. They all came from the same blueprint, deployed in different environments, after their own kind. This is not coincidence. This is the signature of a single intelligence expressing itself across a vast and varied creation.
Life carries its own wisdom. The salmon knows to return to the stream where it was born. The swallow knows to fly south before the cold arrives — without a map, without a teacher, without a phone. The humpback whale navigates thousands of miles of open ocean with no instrument but its own body and the magnetic field of the earth. This intelligence is not learned. It is inherited. Written into the creature at the moment of creation.
And so it is with you. You carry inherited intelligence — instincts, tendencies, capacities — that you did not earn and cannot fully explain. The body that heals itself. The mind that dreams solutions while you sleep. The gut that knows before the brain catches up.
Life is not something that happened to creation. Life is creation, expressing itself abundantly — fruitful, multiplying, filling every available space with the genius of its original design.
You were not given a body that merely survives. You were given a body that knows. The question is whether you are listening.
