This policy explains what information we collect through well-keptlife.com, the Well Kept Closet app, and purchases of The Well-Kept Nest, how we use it, and the choices you have. The site and products are operated by Amy J. Nielsen, doing business as TruEarther Publishing and Well-Kept Life (“we,” “us”). We keep things simple: we collect only what we need, and we never sell your personal information.

1. Information we collect

When you buy something. Your name, email address, and billing details are collected at checkout by our payment processor, Stripe. We receive your name, email, and purchase details. We never see or store your full card number.

When you request printables or join our email list. Your email address, and your name if you provide it.

When you use the Well Kept Closet app. Your account email and the content you choose to save, such as outfit photos, notes, and tags.

When you contact us. Whatever you include in your message.

Automatically. Like most websites, our site and hosting services record basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, and use cookies needed for the site to work (for example, login and security cookies).

2. How we use it

We use your information to process and deliver your purchase, send receipts and download access, provide your printables and app access, respond to your questions, send emails you have signed up for, prevent fraud, and keep the site and app running securely. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email.

3. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do their job: our payment processor (Stripe), our email delivery providers, and the companies that host our website and app. These providers are required to protect your information. We may also disclose information if required by law. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

4. How long we keep it

We keep purchase records as long as needed for tax and accounting purposes. We keep email list information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. App content stays in your account until you delete it or close your account.

5. How we protect it

Payments are handled entirely by Stripe, which is certified to the highest industry security standard for card payments. Our site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to account and customer information is limited to what is needed to run the business. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, subject to records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons. Email book@well-keptlife.com and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Children

Our site, products, and app are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Links to other sites

Our site may link to or embed content from other websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last changed.
